Children's room

A children's room is one of the rooms in the house, like any other. The wallpaper can match the rest of the home: neutral colours, a clear pattern and a design that still feels right after a few years. Which wallpaper suits a children's room

Look at the light first. If the room faces north, choose beige, brown or dusty pink. If the room gets plenty of daylight, blue or green also work. Then look at the scale of the design. A small pattern can go all around the room. A larger design, such as jungle, works best on one wall.

Calm wallpaper for the children's room

A design without a clear age lasts the longest. Stripes for the children's room, blocks and small flowers suit a baby as well as a ten-year-old. Wallpaper for a toddler room

A toddler room needs wallpaper that works now and still in a few years. Small patterns like Smiley Confetti, stripes and daisies suit a toddler and grow with them into the preschool years. Choose a soft background and the room stays calm for sleeping.

How many rolls do you need

A roll consists of two strips of 50 cm wide and 270 cm high. So one roll covers 1 metre of wall width. Measure the width of the wall, divide by 100 and round up. On every product page, the roll calculator works it out for you.

Higher than 270 cm or wall panelling

Hanging it yourself

All our wallpaper is non-woven wallpaper. The paste goes on the wall, not on the wallpaper. You hang the strips dry and slide them straight until the seam closes. There is a cutting line between the two strips of a roll, so you know exactly where to cut. All the steps are in the wallpaper instructions.

Order a sample first

Colour looks different on a screen than on the wall. For every design you can order a sample of the real wallpaper for €3.50. Look at it during the day and in the evening. We print the wallpaper to order, so it cannot be returned.
